In February, NPR brought the magic of the iconic Tiny Desk Concert series to San Francisco with the one-of-a-kind Tiny Desk Experience for Super Bowl Weekend.
As part of the Levi’s “Home Turf” activation, this curated experience captured the signature intimacy of Tiny Desk concerts while celebrating the music, culture and creative spirit of the Bay Area.
The three-day event featured a Tiny Desk recreation by set designer Sophie Weir, which brought the Tiny Desk’s signature wood shelves filled with recreated knick knacks and artist memorabilia to San Francisco. NPR fans and music lovers alike interacted with the Tiny Desk shelves at the event.

The lineup spotlighted hometown talent, with unforgettable performances from Goapele, P-Lo, Souls of Mischief and 2025 Tiny Desk Contest winner, Ruby Ibarra.

Viral moments from fans include this TikTok of Goapale performing ‘Closer to my Dreams’ and this TikTok of Souls the Mischief performing ‘’93 til Infinity,’ two songs that have shaped the sound of Hip Hop and R&B in the Bay Area and beyond. The activation was also visited by celebrities including 2Chainz, Shaboozey, Young Miko and Victor Cruz.
