The Tiny Desk Contest, NPR Music’s annual search for the next great undiscovered artist, returned this year, spreading electric energy from coast to coast. Musicians from across the country submitted over 6,000 entries to the Contest, including 3,900 first-time participants. Spectacular performances throughout the Contest’s On the Road Tour captured the talent and creative spirit of the NPR audience.

Dallas-based hip-hop group Cure for Paranoia stood out from thousands of entrants to become the 2026 Contest Winner, captivating judges with the witty lyricism and bold vision of their original song, “No Brainer.” After taping their own Tiny Desk Concert at NPR headquarters, the group embarked on a ten-stop, nearly sold-out national tour, celebrating with fans in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis, Boston, NYC and D.C.

Led by frontman Cameron McCloud, Cure for Paranoia teamed up with local rising talent at each stop to deliver one-of-a-kind shows to audiences.
